try clearing your cache. you may be looking at a cached error page. i'm able to access http://archive.org/editxml.php?type=audio&edit_item=mathematically-perfected-economy with no issues at the moment.

I have removed any temp/cache files and browser cookies, including testing with another computer and the message still shows with my account.
It seems the only way around this problem would be to request the files/page be deleted, and I could re-upload and start again?

you should not have an access issue. i logged in as your account and was able to access the edit item metadata page with no issues. you can upload again if you want but the issue is not with the item or your account.

I have tried 3 separate computers in total, and the problem still shows with my account. It appears you having admin controls
are able to bypass a restriction which blocks me from entering the edit page, resulting in "Item does not have metadata."

Would it be possible for you to delete the files/page Jeff, or should requests be made elsewhere on the site? Thanks for helping.
